Efter fyringen af Nathan Jones har Southampton været på udkig efter en afløser, men det forlyder altså, at Rubén Sellés får sæsonen ud for at få vendt situationen på St. Mary's Stadium.
Rubén Sellés, der har en fortid som assistenttræner i AGF og FC København, stod i spidsen for The Saints, da de i sidste weekend vandt 1-0 ude over Chelsea.
Den 39-årige spanier ankom til Southampton i 2022, da han blev assistent for Ralph Hasenhüttl, og efter fyringen af Hasenhüttl blev Rubén Sellés midlertidig manager i en enkelt kamp, hvorefter Nathan Jones blev ansat.
Southampton skal lørdag eftermiddag en tur til Elland Road, hvor Leeds venter dem.
